Pack of Viceroys

Pack of Viceroys started in the studio at Woolly Mammoth Sound in Waltham, MA.  The owner and chief engineer David Minehan is the founder and main singer/writer/guitarist for the legendary Boston band, The Neighborhoods.  Dave and I recorded a lot over the years and became friends.   We share a love for straight ahead rock of the classic, garage-pop variety.  I started writing some songs in that style which we recorded, playing and singing everything ourselves. Eventually, we brought in the amazing Debo Ray who sang, played keys and co-wrote one of the songs.  We threw in some covers by the Kinks, the Beatles, the Move, Bowie and Queen and over the course of a few years, had ourselves an album which we call Smoke Break.  Talented UK artist Simon Goodway designed a logo under our direction which perfectly captures the fun and insouciance of the music. Dave is a nasty guitarist and plays in a style I love and which few can duplicate. Check out some of the tunes below. They’re also available on YouTube if you don’t use Spotify.
